The Shanghai Design Team visited the “Esprit Dior” Exhibition at
MOCA Shanghai last week.
The Esprit Dior represents the work and inspiration of visionary
designer; Christian Dior. His designs and influences changed the rules of
elegance across the world forever. He created a Couture House rooted in the
deepest French traditions, with the purpose of bringing women beauty and
elegance and above all, happiness. His passion for creation is still very much
alive in The Couture House, where craftsmanship is dedicated to a desire for
absolute excellence. The exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai
recounts the fabulous history of the fabled Paris fashion house, synonymous
with haute couture.
The particular aspects that the team took away from their visit
to ‘Esprit Dior’ were how the wonderful display style brought to life the
designs alongside the impressive artistic scenes throughout the exhibition, but
most importantly the high quality design of the products. It wasn't a
surprise that they all left wishing that they owned their own Dior dress!
